Malaysia is not only about Kuala Lumpur and the Petronas Towers. It has rain-forests, modern cities, hill stations, beaches, and cities which have still maintained the colonial architecture.
It has amazing food with Malay, Chinese, Indian and European influences. The culture of Malaysia is as varied as it’s food. All this makes Malaysia an ideal tourist destination.
Our travel through the country also was as varied as its food and culture. It included a car trip from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur and then a bus and cable car to Genting Highlands. This was followed by a train and ferry journey to Georgetown and finally air travel from Penang. An enjoyable experience.
How many days in Malaysia
Our stay of 8 days in Malaysia was just enough. A couple of extra days would have helped us in covering what we missed out on.
